Midi-Pyrénées Region

The region of Midi-Pyrénées is rich in history but nevertheless forward-looking. Toulouse, the « pink city», is the industrial and university pole of the region.
The city has become the backbone of the European civil aeronautics industry and no less than 500 regional companies are involved in the aerospace field.
Finally, the climate of the southern region, which is the gateway to the Mediterranean, is very pleasant. Its culinary tradition, Toulouse-style stew or “cassoulet” with goose confit, do not leave gourmet-lovers indifferent, not any less than the highly interesting historical sites, from Albi to Auch, from Foix to Montauban.
